In the autumn of 2023, the MBO+ BBL work/training programme in superyacht hull construction commenced. This programme is an initiative of Mercury Yacht Construction (Zwijndrecht), Zwijnenburg Shipyard (Krimpen a/d IJssel), Bayards Yacht Structures (Nieuw-Lekkerland) and Shipyard Slob (Papendrecht).

The vocational programme is specifically intended for hull builders in the superyacht sector.

Then our MBO+ BBL work/training programme in superyacht hull construction is right up your ally.

What’s included?

  • You work for three days, go to school two days a week and get paid for five!
  • Employment in the form of an apprenticeship contract.
  • We will pay your training costs.
  • You will receive a great salary from the start.

Michal, Ludo, Mercelino and Dustin started their training programme at the workshop. At the workshop they are learning all about the preparatory work for the hull. Later on, in the large construction hall, this will be constructed as double bottoms and sections. These sections are built together, creating a complete hull.
